Area investigated: 30 m x 30 m
Resolutions:    1MP/m2 (a = 0.5m): 900 m2

Comments
A barely perceptible positive, almost circular cropmark on the aerial  image from Bing Maps (2013) was the trigger for this prospection.

(With a greater distance to the monitor, the aerial archaeological findings are a little easier to recognize!)

The shape of this circular ditch, which appears somewhat rectangular in the survey image, is due to the low resolution of 1 MP/m2. When the image is interpolated, it becomes clear that it is a circular structure.

In the south-eastern section, the ditch is interrupted in two places. Since there is usually only one access area (earth bridge) to the burial mound, if at all, the ditch area is obviously disturbed. The central burial in the middle of the circle is still clearly visible.
