Comments

On aerial images from Google Earth, several, barely perceptible, negative cropmarks can be seen on the historical images from 2010, which indicate earlier construction.

Unambiguous aerial images, however, only became known in 2014.

After the presumed Roman structures could be confirmed by the discovery of Roman bric fragments on site, two grids were prospected on the find area at intervals of one month.

Due to several measuring errors during the calibration of the survey area, the foundation line of the presumed north-western building-boundary (dashed red) was missed.

Although the results show a clear building finding, it is difficult to address the structures because of the missing areas.
Furthermore due to the unclear calibration measurement and insufficient documentation a possible misalignment of the two measuring surfaces toward each other cannot be ruled out .

For organizational reasons it has not jet been possible to continue and complete this (rather poor) survey .
