Comments
In this survey extreme noise made the use of strong filters necessary.
However, the results only allow an uncertain interpretation of the measurement images.
An initially assumed malfunction of the measuring device as the reason for the high level of noise could be ruled out by an almost identical follow-up measurement five months later.
Since the entire measuring area was very heavily crisscrossed and undermined by root vole tunnels, it seems reasonable to assume that the cause of the noise is to be found in the extremely inhomogeneous and loosened soil.
