Comments
A. Except for a few small features on its eastern edge, the western slope shows no building-structures and thus marks the western boundary of the vicus.
B. The soil/object contrast of an upcoming excavation aera in the vicus center was greatly weakened by a plastic tarpaulin covered with wood chips.
C. The survey of the single building "Römerhaus" in the southwest woods is, not only due to the small size of measurable area, only of little value. The stony surface resulted in poor coupling and made data-collection extremely difficult.
For this reason, planned large-scale measurements in the wooded areas of the vicus have been put on hold.
